styling is a habit.

its prob the best and worst thing to do on my down time. i come up with possible outfits to wear. the pros about it is, i always have a spare outfit to wear, especially on the running-late-to-work-days. cons, i always seem to think i need something else, like this would be so much cuter, if only i had ... urgh! and i seem to think that a lot. whatevs.

while having one of those heart to hearts, with my JAW, about men and the lack their of in this world ( and no i am not man bashing by any means... the right one just has not seem to come along, thats all )... i made this outfit.

perfection for frolicking in soho on sunday afternoon, just after the leaves fell off the trees, and the chilled wind still gives off that smell of roasted nuts surrounded by smoke. Oh, how i HEART NY !

start off with a tee from wherever, as your base. throw on your cute, comfortable colorful skirt. a cardi on top for a layer, and your worn in, beat up, flat riding boots for the stroll around town. and why not wear your trendy, new, plaid hooded jacket. MATCHING ISNT IN ANYMORE! and accessorize with your moms gold and diamond studs, and your favorite bangles, mixed in from all over.

to me... this is perfection. what do you think?

skirt for the flirt.

i dont know whats up with me lately, but ive been craving to wear skirts and dresses. and im so not that "blair" type, whatevs. i got a jones in my bones, i wanna be a flirt in a skirt. oww; get em!! dont you think that would just be so cute, with a little flirty skirt, thick tights, high boots and whatever sweater, tunic, or silkster and leather like what?! take a min... think about it. let it all marinate. im in love with the concept. now its just wear do i find it? here we go again... riiight? urgh. so of course, i run to my magazines... (altho i havent received my nylon yet, disappointment all over the mug!) and the websites. cmon. who really has time to make these unneccessary trips to mall these days, especially with this holiday madness going on right now. im not impressed. i dont not want to spend an hour just looking for parking, another hour trying to find me size, and another hour on a line just to pay. ummm negative. thats not the business! i will find what i need online, if i have the time and the patience, i might reluctantly take that trip. but more than likely i will point and click, and wait for it to arrive in the mail. and there ya go!

"I'm gonna start releasing some of the pieces online starting in January. The jacket from the AMA's, the Warrior hood that I wore at the Dior show and this one here. I actually designed this one and the jacket from the AMA's less than 3 weeks ago! I'm really happy with them! Sidebar: The Louis Sneakers are coming out REEEEETARDED and the Yeezy's drop in march. Sorry for the wait. I swear to you guys all I do is work on design when I get off stage. I want to and will be the real thing. I will not just be a "celebrity designer." Shit has to be good!!! Another shout out to the Kids from the lines Public School and Sandinista, my personal 2 favorites this month , you got busy! Today is a great day, I'm in Amsterdam at a really dope hotel overlooking the river. I got some sleep on the plane so I should have my voice back a bit better. Whoever saw the promo I was doing this week could tell I was beat and my voice was dead but I still had to get up there and do my job. All the controversy aside, life is great. I've already started conceptualizing a tour idea for next summer. I want to do it in the round (perform in the middle of the arena). Ok, gotta bounce, more press to do."

I LOVE THIS MAN! he is a pure genius. everything that he touches turns to gold, or platinum, or Louis! whatever. how are you going to be a producer that raps, but loves to sing, while designing hot clothes, and rockin hotter ones. damn, can i be like you when i grow up Yeezy?! not to mention, i love his swollen jaw. i think its soo cute, lol. yea i know im crazy but, so is he. My mom said everytime she sees him, she wants to vomit. "i love to love things that people dont like or dont get." mainstream is so boring. i love the the eclectic, the eccentric, the out-of-this-world, youre-crazy-for-that, type of stuff. it makes me smile.

keep a lookout for PASTELLE and go cop 808's and Heartbreak... or not, and just wait til everyone else hops on the bandwagon, and go do it then too. LOOOOOSER :)

I've been blogging from my computer and I just recently installed the blogpress app for my iPhone. I'm testing this out to see how it works bc my lack of blogging comes from the fact that I'm completely pooped after work and too exhausted to sit in front on the computer. all I want to do is sit in my bed and watch tv or listen to music and have a glass of wine. tell me that doesn't sound divine. all of that could be solved, if I had my MacBook Pro, my number one fall want, buuuuuut since I don't. I'm sitting pretty trying to find alternatives. fake it til you make it boo!






so yes, I'm still in bed in my pjs at 12:27 pm on my Sunday afternoon. I'm watching the americas next top model marathon :) trying to figure out if I really want to cut my hair or not... Friday, I was trying to get an appt to chop it all off but I couldn't get one. and that's kinda what has me rethinking this whole process. idk man. I'm still on the fence about it. I need to start fresh bc of my dead ends but I LOVE my hair. I'm attached to my hair. idk what I'm going to do. still thinking about it. wednesday would be my dday... (holding my breath)

I'VE NEVER FELT SO PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. IVE BEEN WALKING AROUND WITH MY HEAD HELD HIGH AND WITH AN ILLUMINATING GLOW AROUND ME, A FEELING THAT NO ONE CAN TAKE AWAY. BEING A FIRST TIME VOTER, I FELT LIKE i MADE THE DIFFERENCE. I FEEL SO PROUD THAT OUR COUNTRY COULD UNITE TOGETHER AS ONE AND MAKE SUCH AN OUTSTANDING AND TRIUMPHANT DECISION. IM ESPECIALLY PROUD OF MY PEERS, THE YOUTH VOTE IS WHAT MADE THIS ELECTION A BREEZE ACROSS THE BOARD. WHEN I WENT TO GO VOTE, WITH MY NANA (that makes me smile), IT WAS LIKE A HIGH SCHOOL REUNION FOR ME. AND NOT IN A BAD WAY AT ALL. IT WAS A REALLY PROUD MOMENT TO SEE A LOT OF MY CLASSMATES; THE GOODIES, THE REBELS, THE ATHLETES, THE NERDS, COME TOGETHER... HAVENT SEEN THAT SINCE GRADUATION. I JUST FEEL SO DAAAAAAAAMN GOOD! ( i keep telling my grandmother, "i just feel so different. DEFINITELY GOOD but, way different. ) I'VE BEEN PARTYING FOR THE PAST 4 DAYS AND SO WHAT?! "MY PRESIDENT IS BLACK". ALTHOUGH ITS NOT ABOUT THAT, WE CANT DENY THE FACT! EMBRACE IT. LIVE IT. LOVE IT. HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE :) AND IM A PROUD AFRICAN AMERICAN, TWENTY-TWO YEAR OLD FEMALE, IN THE United States of America! YESSSSSS!
