babies on the come up.

do you remember having a beeper? maybe you just werent cool enough but, i do! it was the alpha-numeric one in blue. damn, i was so poppin. my mom would page me to come home, and id run to the pay phone and tell her i needed another hour for whatever made up excuse i had at that time. if you think about it, that was like a first text message. i didnt even get a cell phone until freshman year in high school, i think. and that was major. i remember everyone had the motorola with the gel cover, that came in blue or white. yeaaa! but now cell phones are the norm. ive seen kids in elementary school with cell phones. they cant even stay up past the 10spot but, they can have a cell phone. smh.

thats why, when i saw Leapfrogs version of the Baby Blackberry, i was suprised but not shocked! BABIES ARE ON THE COME UP, sad to say.

thats going to be a babies first toy? sad thing is, cell phones werent toys and now they are. awww, come on. sometimes i get angry about how technology has changed things. its messing things up for the new generation. i know i had a GREAT childhood, riding bikes to the parks, playing with my friends, taking road trips with my friends and their families, house parties every other friday. it was fun, i wouldnt take it back for anything. but all of this new technology, all kids do is sit and ... do nothing. SAD!
